What this does
Kindly can limit which unpaid orders enter a reminder plan by using an order filter. This is useful if you only want to follow up on orders placed with a specific payment method (for example, bank deposit), or if you want to exclude certain payment methods from recovery.
Filter by payment method
-
Go to Reminder plans > Your reminder plan.
-
Click Edit to view the reminder plan settings.
-
Scroll to the order filter section and enable it.
-
Select whether you want to include or exclude payment methods:
-
Include: only orders using the selected payment methods will be followed up.
-
Exclude: orders using the selected payment methods will be skipped.
-
-
Select one or more payment methods from the list.
-
Save your plan.
Once enabled, your reminder plan will only follow up on orders that match the filters you choose in the Order filter section.
If you don’t see a payment method you expect, make sure you have at least one open order that used that payment method—Kindly builds the list from open orders.
FAQ
When should I use include vs exclude?
Use Include when you have a small set of payment methods you want to chase (for example, only invoice-based methods). Use Exclude when you want to run reminders for most orders but skip a specific method (for example, methods that are handled offline).
How can I confirm the filter is working? (quick test)
Create a test order using a payment method that matches your filter, then go to Kindly’s dashboard and check the follow-up list. The order should appear (or be excluded) based on your include/exclude selection.
