Getting started with Kindly

Welcome! Want to start recovering your unpaid open orders by sending automated email reminders? Then let's go! 

First Steps - From Setup to Recovery Start

  1. Kindly finds all outstanding unpaid orders in your Shopify store and lists them in the recovery list in the app's dashboard. Don't worry, you can choose which orders to recover later on.
  2. Now, go to settings and add a reminder plan for either orders or draft orders. Customize your email schedule and template to your liking. If you should need help setting up your reminder plan you can always check out our article explaining the individual reminder plan settings.
  3. After setting up your reminder plan you need to save it in order to start the autopilot. In the top right-hand corner click "enable autopilot..." to open the autopilot modal. Choose what orders you like to start recovery for by choosing the starting point. In our article Enabling Autopilot you find more info.

How Kindly operates on autopilot

When an order got paid during the recovery Kindly will instantly stop sending reminders and set the recovery status to "Recovered". Orders can also be stopped manually in the recovery list if needed.
